The used tee shirts were either donated to us or bought from a thrift store to support local economy while not directly supporting the tee shirt manufacturer. The sizes and colors of these used shirts are very random. The new tee shirts were bought from American Apparel, a Los Angeles based sweatshop-free tee shirt manufacturer. American Apparel shirts run about a size smaller than most.
All of our tee shirts are hand-printed by us. The prints are not perfect. In fact, we can almost guarantee that our tee shirts are imperfect.
We mostly use plastisol ink now, because it is easier to use and most people prefer the way that it looks. Yes, it is bad for the environment. We used to, and sometimes still do, use non-toxic acrylic ink.
